WoodOwl's 3/8" - 1-1/2" diameter Deep Cutting Augers are designed for making deep, smooth cuts in:

Utility Poles
Railroad Ties
Pressure-treated Lumber
Wet or Frozen Wood

Each bit is constructed of high-grade carbon steel with a course, burr-free lead screw for fast, on-target starts. A spurred lead-in cutting edge and unique twist design additionally make for fast, even drilling and clean chip removal, which are essential for making deep cuts in tough wood and in extreme environments.
